He gave a notice to WWE, and might sign with TNA.
He does have to wait 90 days though to actually sign elsewhere from WWE.

Bottom Line: He could be in TNA as early as May

His contract is up over the summer, so by the earliest he could go to TNA in September or October.

He would not do any better in TNA as TNA is slowing falling apart. For a company that proclaims "we are wrestling" they haven't been featuring much actual wrestling lately. Under Russo TNA will die, and RVD would be buried there as well. Never rising above mid-card. TNA has enough talent as it is and can't even use them properly. The X-division now is a joke thanks to Kevin Nash and the PCS segements.

Hopefully RVD and Vince work things out, and with enough money and potentially title runs Rob will stay where he should. Honestly the guy is getting older and can't keep going on forever, he would be better suited as the only one of 2 strong faces on the ECW brand and hopefully will get back in the title picture.

You can't blame him. He was being crapped allover by WWE so hey it's time to head somewhere else. The new ECW is a botched abortion and little more than a pitiful attempt by Mr. McMahon to fellate himself by clowning ECW. TNA is a more wrestling oriented company.

Sure getting busted with weed was stupid but how long does he need to keep paying for it? Especially when ol' Vinny Mac himself nearly got sent up the river for slingin' steroids back in `93.
