Actually, men, straight men wearing tights and pantyhose is a growing trend. NoNonsense even has several web pages now regarding this trend. http://www.nononsense.com/mens.aspx
I wear tights in the winter to help stay warm as I work outside daily. Check out the Legwear As Unisex Fashion http://forums.delphiforums.com/LegwearUF
forum too.Hope this helps!

You don't get out much, do You? This question is going to come back and haunt You. I don't suppose it occured to You, but 'hose' were originally worn by Men. Soldiers still often wear then under Their uniforns when they are in cold climates. You would be very surprised to learn just how many men do wear hose under their clothes. Flight attendants, nurses or anyone who stands or walks a lot during their working day. There is nothing really weird about it, unless they are "fishnet" stockings.

Not at all, if there are good reasons. Jockeys do, and others, because they are warm but light. Some pilots and male flight attendants do to prevent DVT. It depends on the reason; fishnet stockings would be weird, but, in the privacy of the home or bedroom, many things are quite acceptable as long as no-one is harmed.

Yes, of course they can. As you can see from the responses so far, you will generally receive mixed reactions on this type of (web-based) poll. But, as a previous poster pointed out, many men (myself included) from all walks of life wear hose/tights on a regular basis.

if its to kep warm, why not.
Remember the movie Robin Hood , men in tights ?

if its for his own sensual passion , why not?
Some men are into wearing Ladies items.

if its for cross-dressing, make sure he shaves the legs first, not a good look with the stubbles

Warn him about recurring yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis, and try to get him to buy only the ones with a cotton crotch.
