They have formula for goats on the market..but if you have trouble getting a hold of it...get calf maker they sell this at almost all feed stores....

I raised two baby pigmy goats and what I did was mix up about a gallon at a time and kept it in the refrigerator....the bottles I use were just regular baby bottles (I think I feed them 6oz at first than after a week I started giving them full bottle)... and I just feed them every four hours like a baby.... than when they were a couple of weeks old I cut it back to just day feedings and if they acted hungry I would feed them....I had fat goats.....at 5 weeks I introduce them to regular goat feed they still had a bottle but I cut back the amount.. ...by the way, mine really loved their bottle...I was still giving them one everyday when they were 9 months old ...they end up like babies when they are bottle fed....they make wonderful pets.........

if he/she appears to have an upset stomach you can give them a little baking soda..it works like an antacid

there is something else you need to get them.... their shots.....one is for over eating...and a wormer or something...just call a vet up and tell them you have a baby goat and you need the shots.....the beauty with these animals they are consider a farm animal and not necessarily a pet...so the shots are cheap...they used to just make up the shots for me and my husband would pick them up on his way home from work and he gave it to them...no problems........

best of luck with your baby......

Get a milk replacer at a feed or pet store if at all possible. If not able to do that right away, use whole cows milk with a little white karo syurp mixed in (about a tablespoon). Depending on the goats age, try to feed every two to three hours. Just to maintain current weight, it will have to take in at least 36 ounces a day. to gain weight and grow, it will need more.Make sure the milk is warmed to body temp before feeding, and use a fairly small nipple on the bottle. A lambs nipple or a pritchert's nipple is usually the best and easy to find. Good luck, and don't expect to get much sleep any time soon lol.

Go to a pet and produce store and buy the powdered milk mix for goats. Make sure it has no 'urea' in it as this is not good for goats but is given to cows.

Feed small amounts (500 ml) every few hours.

Buy a teat from the produce store that fits onto a normal soft drink bottle.

Give milk at a nice warm, but not hot temperature.

My baby girl is nearly 8 months old now!

You will only need to feed for the first 3 or 4 months until they start eating and drinking water on their own.

I still give mine a bottle as a treat on cold nights though!

Go to a feed store and buy the formula that is fed to calves.I would think at least 5 times a day but check the directions.
