"Red Dawn" is the story of teenagers fighting a guerrila war when the Soviets invade America.
"The Day After" features a family's struggle to survive after the World War III.
"The Atomic Cafe" is a mock-umentary featuring the old 1950's Civil Defense films that were used in classrooms across the US.
"Spies Like Us"- Cheavy Chase & Dan Aykroyd are two stumbling Diplomatic Service employees sent to stop Soviet agression in Afghanistan, but end up

The most famous probably The Day After, but that was a TV Movie. Red Dawn was about a conventional war between US and the Soviet Union

if you could tell us more of a story line it might help.
my favorite is "World war III" where a grain embargo forces Russia to invade Alaska with a special forces unit.while a undermaned underarmed national guard unit fights to stop them from blowing up the pipeline, washington must fight to avert world war.
it ends in nuclear war.

theres a book called alas, babylon, and they made a movie based off it, but i dont remember the name sorry. we watched it in English calss and i fell asleep
