I thought the MVP should have been shared by Rhodes and Addai.

Most valuable player of the game awards are almost always given to the quarterback unless someone else breaks a record or something. The reason is sportswriters lack the intelligence to determine whether an end is doing a great job or the quarterback is throwing it well to him. They're amateurs--it's that simple. In this case, arguably the MVP should have been Marvin Harrison. Forget what he did; he was being double-covered, drawing defenders away from the line of scrimmage so the runners could run and drawing them away from other receivers all day.
Unless you give the MVP of the Game to the entire offensive line of the Colts, or to the coach for devising a clever and varied offense in the first place, sorry, but this time you have to give it to Peyton Manning.

Absolutely NOT. He had a sub-par showing for him and was rewarded for it. The announcers kept on saying how they changed from a passing team and went to a running game. Give credit where credit was due - to someone that earned it on the field and NOT because of his reputation. Running backs won it for The Colts.

does that guy "tommy bear" even know what he's talking about?
Musin Muhammad (aka moose) plays for the bears, so how can he get mvp? Second...it was Devin Hester (who also plays for the bears) that ran back the kickoff!
note to tommy bear: the mvp gets awarded to someone from the WINNING TEAM!

yes, b.c he didn't play to win the MVP, the car, the money, or the ring.
he played from his heart.
cooper, his brother, had a dream to win a Superbowl b.c of injury he couldn't.
he said he would live that dream through Peyton.
Peyton won for his brother/family. not for the glory. and i think that's what being the most VALUABLE player means.
playing for the love of the game and to make other people happy. besides yourself.

I would have chosen Bob Sanders, Colt's Safety for MVP.

No, I don't think he was up to his par.
I would say Addai alone deserved it. If not him, Sanders, who forced a fumble, had an INT, and had many criticle run-stops.
