7.0 is perfectly neutral, pure water for example. 0 is the strongest acid possible and 14 is the strongest base possible. What does pH have to do with music, unless of course, you're into "acid rock"?

If rain is below 5.6 pH, it is considered acid rain. It is how people measure the acidity of rain. 0 pH is pure water.
