Yes. The worst is when I am trying to open up a bag that has Velcro and I figure opening it slowly with make less noise but it always ends up making more noise and it's over a longer amount of time.

I think it may just seem like you are making more noise when you are trying to be quiet.
If i tap a pin against a desk during a class where a teacher is teaching, no one will hear it. However, if i tap that pin during a silent reading assignment everyone will hear!
also... you usually cannot hear yourself breath... but you sure can when you're trying to be quiet...
i think its all in our heads :-(

It always seem the more I try to be quiet, the more noise I make.
I'm either dropping something, knocking something over, or running into something.

Breathing, clearing your throat, and coughing are a couple of examples of making noises while trying to be quiet.

Anytime I have ever tried to NOT laugh because I should be quiet I laugh even more so I'm sure this happens for every "trying to be quiet" situation lol.

only when I play the quiet game lol I always ask if its started after it has already started then I laugh way too much when I try to make myself be quiet.

Heck yeah! I bump all kinds of s.h.i.t. over, and then laugh about it, trying to be quiet...then I step on the dog accidentally, and when he yelps I laugh harder and get everyone pissed at me.
