I know my neighbors use my wireless connection. I really don't mind. It doesn't affect me at all, plus they are grateful for it. HOWEVER, Can i see what they are doing? I don't want to sound weird, but eh ill be honest, I'm curious...so can I see their websites? What about what they are writing or pictures and music they are getting. Is there a program I can get?
Thanks~

most consumer grade routers will allow you to do limited logging. HOWEVER, you can set up an opensource webfilter on a dedicated computer with 2 Network cards...The machine will sit between your router and cable/broadband modem and watch all traffic entering and exiting...will capture all internet activity and provide you with a report if you wish

I would lock down your router...if your neighbor is using it, I am sure they are not the only ones, you will be surprised by the driveby users........I've done it........If you wish, you can set them up so they can continue using it.

One such webfilter is http://dansguardian.org/
Full featured and FREE.........with addons to monitor IM's and other things

Yes, it is possible to see what they are doing, just as it is possible for them to see what you are doing.

You obviously don't have security enabled on your wireless network, which is not a very good move. Apart from the obvious (that anyone can use your network), it is also possible for anyone to enable security on your network. If someone did this, you would be unable to use your network, while your neighbours (or whoever) are happily surfing away to their heart's content (on a secure wireless network paid for by you).

So, rather than worrying about how to snoop on your neighbours, you should set up security on your network. :-)

It is not possible to view the sites they visit on most commercial routers. There are a few, but are on the higher priced side. If you were using a server to connect to the internet then you could deploy software to record all internet traffic.
