i accidently shut down my iBook with a disc in it, and now the disc will not come out, i have tried dragging it to eject a TON of times, and hitting F12 a ton of times. NOTHING IS WORKING!!!! THANK YOU !!!!!

there is no CD tray on my iBook unfortunately

Check for a pinhole near the drive opening (CD, floppy disk, etc.) and using a sturdy thin rod (e.g. paper clip or safety pin), you can push it into the pinhole and this will cause the drive to disengage the disk and eject it.

Hi! try inserting a pin inside the small hole which you will find near the eject button of your cd-drive this will push the cd tray outwards and you can take the cd out of it.....

errr, im not exactly a mac user, but does holding down f12 make a difference?
