I have to tell you that it really depends. The very first time I had sex, the condomn broke and of course, my luck, I got pregnant. Now that I am thirty, my husband and I are trying to have a baby and it took us 5 months to get pregnant.

The way it works is, 10-14 days after the first day of her period she produces an egg. If the sperm reaches the egg she will become pregnant. Try not to worry too much about it because what's done is done. Chances are, she's not. I'm not going to tell you to use a condomn because obviously you know that you should. Just relax and try to keep her from stressing about it because if she does, more than likely she will miss her period.

Good luck

You say it's only a few days after her period. But a girl's cycle starts on the first day of her period. So you could be pretty close to the ovulating date which is usually in the 14th or 15th day of the cycle. Buy a test and do it together and then you will both know for sure. good luck :)

Hope this info helps and you find what your looking for. Good luck to you!

Ovulation occurs when a mature egg is released from the ovary, pushed down the fallopian tube, and is available to be fertilized. The lining of the uterus has thickened to prepare for a fertilized egg. If no conception occurs, the uterine lining as well as blood will be shed. The shedding of an unfertilized egg and the uterine wall is the time of menstruation.

Key Facts of Ovulation:
An egg lives 12-24 hours after leaving the ovary
Normally only one egg is released each time of ovulation
Ovulation can be affected by stress, illness or disruption of normal routines
Some women may experience some light blood spotting during ovulation
Implantation of a fertilized egg normally takes place 6-12 days after ovulation
Each woman is born with millions of immature eggs that are awaiting ovulation to begin
A menstrual period can occur even if ovulation has not occurred
Ovulation can occur even if a menstrual period has not occurred
Some women can feel a bit of pain or aching near the ovaries during ovulation called mittelschmerz, which means "middle pain" in German
If an egg is not fertilized, it disintegrates and is absorbed into the uterine lining
Tracking Ovulation:
A woman's monthly cycle is measured from the first day of her menstrual period until the first day of her next period. On average, a woman's cycle normally is between 28-32 days, but some women may have much shorter cycles or much longer ones. Ovulation can be calculated by starting with the day the last menstrual period (LMP) starts or by calculating 12-16 days from the next expected period. Most women ovulate anywhere between Day 11 - Day 21 of their cycle, counting from the first day of the LMP. This is what many refer to as the "fertile time" of a woman's cycle, because sexual intercourse during this time increases the chance of pregnancy. Ovulation can occur at various times during a cycle, and may occur on a different day each month.

Women usually ovulate between 10-14 days after their period but this differs in many women. Ask her if her cycles are regular (every 2 days or so). She can only get pregnant if she has ovulated or is about to do so. The sperm can live inside of her for a few days too...next time use a condom.

Well, if it was around the 14th, when ovulation is, then she is 99.9 percent pregnant. The chances are still pretty high right now though, any kind of unprotected sex usually results in pregnancy.

Well, if you don't want a baby you shouldn't take any chances. Pregnancy can result anytime you have unprotected sex.

If she ovulated the chances are high, if she didn't they are low. If you aren't ready to become a dad, then use protection!!!!
