I don't any more. Basically the term means either taking prescription drugs that weren't prescribed to you or taking street drugs. The end result, you hope, is to relieve physical mental or emotional pain. Take it from someone who tried for 36 years it doesn't work. Talking, counselling and medication work much better once the right meds and proportions are found for your problem and body.
