I mean the regular cheeseburgers; the kind with no mayo or lettuce. Would it be a health hazard (that is, besides the fat, salt and cholesterol!)?

Actually, yes they can! When McDonalds has their 30 cent hamburger specials, we stock up and freeze them for handy and fast meals on the go. Leave them in their wrappers and put them in a freezer bag. Nuke the burger for about 20 secs and then add the bun in for another 10 seconds, and you'll be good to go. Adding some more condiments makes it taste better, and I wouldn't recommend leaving the burgers in your freezer for more than a couple weeks to a month or you will have freezer-burned burgers! By the way, works for chicken nuggets too!

Yes! my boyfriend's brother is a GM for McDonalds, and is ALWAYS bringing food home! Our freezer is food of salads, burgers, fish sandwiches, chicken nuggets, apple and cherry pies, and soup. The soup is always good, but the nuggets taste a little dryer once they are cooked in the microwave. nothing a little ketchup can't fix!

Surprisingly no. It is proven that McDonald's food can stay fresh for quite some time because of all the preservatives put into them. You can take this as a good or bad thing. However, by freezing it you may loose some of the taste.

I have stored it in fridge, no longer than 24 hours. Won't taste as good after microwaved.

You might wanna toast the bread instead. It goes really soft in the microwave (unless you like it that way).

i think, no. because foods are kept in the refrigerator or freezer to prevent it from spoiling. it stops the growth or multiplication of bacteria. we have kept burgers in the ref and heated them the next day, and nothing bad happens.
