Anime Guys? (Guys please answer this too!!)?

Question

In your opinion, what's your dream anime guy? What makes him special to YOU?

I'm making a medieval manga with my brothers, and we wanted to know what attracted people most.

I forgot some specifics:
What does he look like? Does it matter?

How does he react to things (fears/likes/dislikes)?

Does he talk with a certain accent? Does that matter to you?

What kind of clothing does he wear? Do you care? Does he care?

Great question! My dream anime guy must:

1. have something blue- either it's blue hair, eyes, or something he wears.
2. Pretty but not preppy.
3. Cool, calm and not a loudmouth.
4. Smart and kind.
5. Tall and has straight or slightly wavy hair.
6. Not trying to be someone else- realistic.
7. Independent and not reliant on other people.
8. Doesn't have to be a good person, but has to have a purpose in their life.

Examples of people: Sasuke, Kadaj from FF VII AD, Auel Neider, Athrun Zala from Gundam SEED Destiny.

I like Batou from Ghost in the Shell. He has a rugged exterior and talks very tough, but there is a kindness deep inside him that escapes on occasion. It's those times that make him really stand out as a character and add thought to the story. On the flip side he has an aggressive trait that can suddenly explode, so not knowing how he will react to a situation creates some tension for the viewer. It also helps that his eyes are cyborg and somewhat expressionless.

Hmm; a medieval manga you say?? I think your best bet would be going with either:

1) a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks that is receiving a second chance because he has a good heart(muscular definition is up to you)
2) a goody-two shoes that has a good amount of muscle (but make sure most aren't obvious. You should be able to toy with your reader)
3) a "down to earth" character that most readers can relate to (his strength lies within)

Myself, I'm a magikal girl so muscles don't really mean anything; it's all about the eyes. They are the windows to the soul dontcha know.

Someone like Sawamura in Midori Days: funny, silly, but can be serious sometimes.

Someone mysterious, a bit "dark", and cool. Someone who is trying to recollecting his past memories or figuring out why a certain incident happened (like Kamui from X Clamp). Of course, he must have a cool fighting style.

Ive liked sanji from one piece, he is just an overall good character. He falls head over heels for every girl & his fighting style is awsome. So he is very entertaining in the anime & his fighting style in the anime is uber awsome.

I guess I have a thing for characters who use their legs for attacks. Charlie is one of my fav. characters from street fighter :).

Well I guess for me a dark but not completly evil character. He had a hard past and is affected by it. he could change in time and become more kind hearted, but still has his cool attitude and hot grin^^

i liked the guy named Hayate in an anime called "Pretear". he's soooo a hot even though he's hard to deal with at times,which for me,makes his character more cool!

i also like Eiji from Prince of Tennis. I really like him a lot and i don't need a reason to like him 'cause he's lovable! .^_^.

Hmm that one is hard! If I had to pick just one I would say Sessohmaru!! Video game would be Squall from FF8 and J-pop would be Gackt!!

Of course, handsome, with long and fine hair. He's turning serious when he has to. Has sense of humor. Not boring, and romantic
