Oh well... If I was rich I'd probably just not give out my new phone number to anyone but my parents... he is probably some moron that doesnt realize you can get an unlisted number LOL
money doesnt by happiness thats for sure... but you'd think it could buy you enough things to fill the void! If hes suicidal I'd like to get in his will LOL mo-money mo-problems right? LOL

I believe it totally depends on the person. I think money can buy you hapiness to a degree but you can't buy yourself OUT OF unhapiness, if you know what I mean. If you are happy with yourself poor then you'll probably have a better chance of being happy if you come into money. It makes a lot of problems disappear but it makes lots more arise too. The family that wants a slice, the guilt you might feel for having so much when so many have nothing, the stress of managing that much, crumbling relationships. I can tell you right now that those are risks I'm willing to take for a couple of million though!

I hate people who win the Lotto, too. There was that really old couple who hit the jackpot, what would 2 old people be doing with so much money?! It's probably going to be given to a close friend from their inheritence. I do think money buys happiness and a good time. You can't be broke and buy a Florida vacation can you? Happiness does come included in your Disney World vacation, too.

Well, I think that you ahve already answered your own question. All these winners prove that money does not buy happiness; in fact I have heard from a number of lottery winners say the exact same thing, that after they won the money, people stopped being their friends and started being moochers.
If you are unhappy before you had the money, you're going to still be unhappy after the money. Money isn't everything and is worthless if you feel all alone.

Well they have to pay more hefty taxes you know. Either way, I can see how these people can be elated to win the lotto and then depressed as their life spirals. People want to be loved for who they are, not what they can give someone. Alot of golddiggers out there. Personally, I don't think money can make you happy or buy love. Because once its all gone, without love, the person is gone as well.

Well money could buy love, happiness and good time but it will all end once you are out of cash. At least have more money could give you a better understanding to your life partners.
