It is normal. Just remember that unless you want an awkward conversation from your parents do it wither in the shower or with your bedroom door locked

Yes it is very normal. No matter what men or women say, they all have, still do or will play with themselves. I am 21 years old, started when i was 12 and still masturbate. Its nothing to feel guilty about, although most girls do when they first start experimenting with their sexuality. I know i sure did. And as everyone has stated already, make sure you can't be walked in on. For one it will be very embarassing to get caught. On the other hand it will make it feel akward to ever masturbate again for the fear of gettin caught again. The best time to do it is in the shower or @ night when your parents are in the bed. Just please do this alone and not with any one else. I did...i had sex at 14 because i was so curious about sexuality and guess what? I have a 6 year old son. Yep, i got pregnant at 14. And you can get pregnant on the first time. And also, if you have started your period, a tampon will not break your hymen(cherry) if you are correctly inserting it. Good luck and be safe.

Very much. Your hormones are just raging, and you crave sexual tension. you shouldnt feel guilty!!! I saw a poll, and it stated:
96% of teens in the U.S. masterbate.
It's normal, and if you havnt started, you will soon start your period. I felt/do feel the same way, being 13, like you!!
My personal advice to you is to not let everyone know your sexual privacy, stay a virgin as long as possible, and when you start your period, dont use a tampon until you've lost your virginity. its uncomfortable and may have a possible chance of poppin your cherry. Good luck, and like I said before, DONT FEEL GUILTY!!!!!

Absolutely. Your hormones are raging at your tender age and you may want to experiment with masturbation. There's nothing wrong with that. It's also an alternative to sexual activity with a partner which has emotional ramifications tied to it that you may not be ready for. Making love alone is your best bet.

yeah its deffinatly normal... i did that when i was like 12.. and still do at times.
its just a safe way of experimenting your sexuality... i mean hey, would your parents rather you go out and have REAL sex.. with a guy?
there is no harm to it, and most girls do it [not all though] and alot of guys

It is normal at your age. So dont worry about it. as long as your parents odnt see you so they dont ask you any questions. do it in the shower or when they are gone. it happends to everyone so your okay.
