My professor is making me do a poem or story on how macavity (the cat) dissappears or escapes from the crime. I'm stumped, does anyone have any ideas? You can find the poem here:

Of course, you can rip off T. S. Elliot, but that is plagiarism. (Macavity is a thief. So, that could be the focus of your story.)

If I were you, I'd do a story about the ginger cat holding a meeting with his crime syndicate: Mungojerry, Rumpleteaser and Griddlebone to name a few. They can plan a caper, perhaps the catnapping of Old Deuteronomy.
