What cap moves will they make this offseason? Who's a free agent? Who will they try to sign? Who will they try to re-sign? What are there biggest needs?

I'm curious since I'm sure there are many out there who know much about what they will probably do this offseason to make the team better next year...

Marquis Free Agents: Asante Samuel and Daniel Graham, Troy Brown & Junior Seau
Others: Banta-Cain, Heath Evans, Patrick Pass, Ray Mickens, Gene Mruczkowski, Testeverde, Larry Izzo, Don Davis, Ken Walter
restricted:Defensive back Randall Gay, offensive lineman Billy Yates, and safety Rashad Baker

Possible cuts for cap space: Colvin, Dillon

Look for the pats to sign young(er) linebackers and safties, both units showed their age in the second half of the colts game.

Look for the pats to pursue Lance Briggs from chicago, Cato June of indy, or Adalius Thomas from baltimore at linebacker the only name reciever is Donte' Stallworth from Philly, not a huge name, but this need could be addressed by two first round picks no. 24 (from seattle for Branch) and 28

Not many needs for a team who was 1 game away from the SB this year. Biggest priority should be to get a true #1 receiver. With 2 first round picks moving up for a D. Jarrett or Ted Ginn Jr. are not out of the question. Also a top CB would be beneficial. Another LB also.

They have to keep the defense intact. They have some of the defensive linemen, linebackers and defensive backs in the league. They have to keep their defense intact. Also, they have one of the best and smartest offensive lines around. Same thing, they have to keep those guys. Just doing that will preclude going out to the market for more expensive free agents. It took a while to replace Ty Law and Lawyer Milloy. They should learn from that and keep Hobbs and Samuel.

WR and LB are their biggest needs. I see them possibly trading up for Ted Ginn (Ohio State) and Paul Posluzney (Penn State). This would give them two young athletic recievers in Chad Jackson and Ginn and Posluzney, who is a notorious hard worker ,to learn from two of the best in Tedy Bruschi and Junior Seau.

They need to keep Samuel. I dont care how much money he wants. Just give it to him. Troy Brown. Cmon gotta keep him. He has been in New England for ever! Hes a great DB and better WR. We have to keep TE Dan G. He is Mr. 3rd down.
