Lately I've noticed that I'm really snappy and could care less if I'm around people or not. I don't understand it. I journal daily and all I know is if I could I would go to a resort for a week and get massages and lounge around.

Woah I looked at some of the answers here and none of them have any real value in it. First thing you need to understand is that Anger is related to fear. From what I recall, anger is a defense mechanism when faced with fear of something and any psychoanalyst could tell you that fear of anything comes from childhood trauma. You might not remember exactly what you were afraid of but this is because that memory is repressed into your subconscious. Anyway back to anger. Your anger probably comes from a sudden change that your subconscious could relate to with your childhood trauma which relates to your sudden burst of anger. Those massage stuff don't really work. They just repress your anger. Hope I helped.

Sometimes anger comes from a lot of stress, being overworked, or not having enough sleep. It's a body's natural reaction to what is not normal. I think that's what this could be, especially since you said it's something that's been happening recently.

It could also simply be a matter of maturing (if you're in your early teens to late twenties). People of this age need a lot more sleep than people normally do and you may not be getting the right amount. Also, look into your diet; have you been eating differently since you've started feeling this way? Maybe you just got a pet or a new addition to the family. Any kind of change could contribute to anger like this.

Maybe it's the people around you. I'm also a happy person but when other people bring me down then I'm full of anger. Maybe you need to get out there take up a new hobby or sport and meet new and interesting people. Hope this helps :)

There are things in your life that you are dissatisfied with. They tend to build up inside, and before you know it, your emotions are consumed with negative feelings. A week at a resort and a massage just might be the ticket you need; but you also might want to try to get to the bottom of what's driving you to want to "get away". Good luck, hon.

Anger comes from fear. You need to "talk" to a friend because talking is therapy. It will hit you like a rock when you take the time to discuss feelings with someone you trust. You can't do it alone.

Sounds like you could be depressed. I have depression and suffer the same symptoms. But with a whole lot of crying. You should probably talk to someone about it. If you are ready for that and tired of feeling angry all the time. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Anger stems from fear. Are you depressed? Are you physically well? You would benefit by seeing your Dr. It always helps to talk to someone. Good luck. I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Not sure about your case in specific, but anger in general comes from dissatisfaction with the way things are and sadness that you're not all-powerful.
