hey girl! you can *absolutely* wear this shade. in fact, it sounds like it'd look beautiful on your skintone.

what i recommend is that you make sure the gloss you buy is more opaque, instead of sheer, so that it'd actually show up. a perfect one could be MAC's "Florabundance" lipglass. i love this shade on my lips, b/c even though they're highly pigmented (i have fair skin, and very pink lips), it tones them down b/c the gloss is thick enough to actually show up. (some glosses, i've noticed, don't do a thing on me b/c they're not strong enough to really win the war with my pigmented lips...lol.) MAC is also reasonably priced for a department store gloss ($13.50, i think?), and has awesome gloss and staying power.

anyway, even if you don't go with MAC, or that shade, just make sure the gloss has a slightly creamy texture that's highly pigmented (even if that pigment is "light" pink). good luck!

1 last thing, if you don't like it at all, you can always return or exchange it. =)

Go to the department store and try Benefit's lip gloss in "Kiss Me"...its a sheer pink gloss, it complements every skin tone. Don't turn away when you first see it, it looks kind of bright...but when it goes on its very sheer and sexy. It only costs $14, lasts forever too!

don't shy away from a color that looks really bright pink. I have dark skin as well and one day tried a bright pink lip gloss and it actually looked amazing. It did not show up as bright when I put it on, it was actually the perfect shade.

Omg are you kidding me? Light pink lipgloss looks great on people with dark complexions. It makes you look fresh and tan and is really pretty=]

I think it looks really pretty. in a picture my friend was in[she has dark-ish skin], she had on pink lipstick and was wearing a jacket with a matching pink hood, and it looked really nice.
