my video ipod doesnt want to let me get out of the dont disconnect screen. My ipod is brand new and i dont know why its doing that?

It's completely fine. There is nothing wrong with your iPod. However, you should charge your iPod for 2 or 3 hours in the initial charge because your iPod's battery life will be longer when it gets older than if you had a bad initial charge. You can take out the iPod even when it says the "Do not disconnect" screen.

Ive set up a few friends iPods recently and all of them were new, and all of them did this. Leave it in for an hour or so to charge then its fine to take out even on that screen.

did u attempt unplugging it from the workstation???? attempt plugging it in and using the 'restoration' button under your ipod in itunes worst come worst, in basic terms leave it on till it drains the battery and dies. once you turn it on it is going to likely be high-quality.

its normal, if it says "i pod is done updateing" or whatever. it will say it a little to the right of the play and stop buttins
