This question really interests me and im busy with this in social science and would like to see what others think

All of our Founding Mothers and Fathers would wish they had never broken with England...I'll bet they feel like their life effort was a waste and that they shouldn't have bothered...what's a little tea tax compared with the problems of today's America???

Poor Thomas Jefferson, Poor Ben Franklin, Poor George Washington...they gave their life for this...

It would be very different from his ideal. Of course it's no longer feasible to live as an agrarian nation anymore so his view on this particular issue wouldn't be of much help anyhow.
