first of all, it was an old habit and i dont do it anymore, dont give me any 'see a counselor' answers.
1. what works best to make the scars not visible
2. anyone who used to do it miss the rush?
3. when people ask about the scars, i only have a couple visible ones on my arms, what should i say, sometimes i just need an excuse, not everyone needs to know about my past.
thank you :]

1. Long sleeves. Other than that, sometimes if you use the same concealer you use on your face, then that works, but it tends to smudge a bit on whatever your arm touches.

2. Yes.

3. I have a cat and it attacked me. Or I met a cat on the street and it attacked me. Depends what your scars look like. Something with an animal usually works- at least it did for me. They weren't totally convinced, but they bought it.

There is a cream you can buy at any drug store for scars. I think it is called maderma or something like that. I never practiced self harm but know people that have done that . I think they are masking the pain they have from life with real physical pain. When people ask about your scars you can just tell them you had an accident. They don't need details. Tell them you would rather not talk about it but thank them for being concerned.

My scars were long and ugly on my arm. I went to a plastic sergon and had them "revised" The trick to making them almost dissappear was the radiation I got on the sites for 4 days after the surgery. I am telling you it made a huge differance. I would tell people that I either fell into a glass mirror aor that O was in a terrible car wreck and almost died when I went through the windshield.

Um let's see here. Use mederma it helps with scars, lots of people miss the rush but it's not worth doing it again, tell people a cat scratched you or that you would just rather not discuss it.

my sister had an operation on her thyroid she has a scar on her neck...
a friend had a an operation on their carpal tunnel which explains the scars on arms, wrists...hands etc....

personally I wear a scar on my wrist for having burnt myself on the oven rack when taking something from a lower rack and not wanting to drop the hot fat on the gas flame....

explain the scars anyway you like....

yep any rush previously enjoyed would be missed..
