I am looking to move. And I know a lot of states are having hardships right now.

Go somewhere where everything is moderate if you want safety.
The mid west and Ohio Valley States have the best weather except for tornadoes. Safer states are probably the more rural states. Somewhere that isn't too over the top politically and well balanced. I would pick a state like Minnesota or Wisconsin for a safe state. If you want somewhere safe and a lot of fun, go for Illinois, Indiana. Those all sound good to me. Take a tour of the US and pick one. You are blessed to not be tied down with a job or school, although the other way around can be a blessing to. Good luck and God bless!

I live in California, and the town I live in is 2 hours from the beach, 1 1/2 hrs from the mountains. Also, the city I live in is one of the cheapest cities in which to live in California.

California, it's so big with so much to do you never have to leave the state!
