What is the Natchez Chase?

I think that it is a place on the eastern half of the United States. Please tell me where is is?

It's called the Natchez Trace, not Chase. It's an old Indian trail. Modern roads follow this old trail through Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. It's a beautiful parkway now.

It is a highway. Starts in Natchez Ms on the Mississippi River. Runs NE toward Tennessee. Very scenic, no commercial vehicles allowed.
