How old were you when you had your first child? I do not have kids yet and I dont think I will until I am 30 or older (I am 26)... I will probably be married in about 1 1/2 to 2 years and wanted to be married awhile before getting pregnant. I was just curious how old everyone else was.

I think thats wise! I'm 23 and I'm glad I didnt pop one out as soon as I got married.. after your married enjoy that time with your husband to assure your marriage is secure. you need "us" time... Oh yeah I havent had one yet.. when and if I do.. I'd say anytime before 35 is cool! (i'm aiming for 26 or 27 ideally myself)

Regretable, but I wouldn't change it for the world, I was 19. I was engaged but not married, shortly after the baby was born his dad and I split. I met a new person became pregnant with his child and married him and we are still together to this day! He is in the process of adopting my first child and we couldn't be happier! Good luck hon, but be careful about waiting on having children the risks go up once you hit 35 especially for things like down syndrome.
