what is he i thought u may like the better pic of him. hes almost 7 inches and a sweetie!

There are no "species" of goldfish - they are all Carassius auratus - they are just different varieties based on their body shapes and finnage. I still say calico ryukin: http://animal-world.com/encyclo/fresh/goldfish/RyukinGoldfish.php (or fantail: http://animal-world.com/encyclo/fresh/goldfish/FantailGoldfish.php). The ryunkin has ha higher arch to its back and a thicker area where the tail joins the body (caudal peduncle). Otherwise, they're pretty much the same!
