the nuecles in the cell control all the life activity inside the cell so if the nuecles is removed then it would obviously die.for example-if a brain is removed frm a human body then the human being will die it is same in the case of a cell.

Cells need the DNA in the nucleus to direct the formation of proteins.

technically it's already dead, as having heritable material is a prerequisite for the definition of life. No nucleus means no DNA.
