If you teach that "winning is everything" the child will be warped. Only in certain circumstance is it true.

Like when playing Scrabble, or Monopoly. But in LIFE, (not the game) there are so many other matters to weigh in. . .compassion and empathy are two immediately that come to mind.

However, the concept in some kiddie soccer that is going the rounds: "Just play and no one wins or looses" is also totally ridiculous. The refs are not teaching that team work and strategy help one team to win.

Be selective in the teaching of children. There is no "One size fits all" in teaching.

I winning is ever thing to you, what happen if he fail? is that end of him/her.?Winning ever thing is parents stupid unrealistic to children. Its all depend on our children capability and motivation
