I so dreaded it-but it was wonderful. I had the epidural and had a ball. No-really. My nurses were really sweet, I listened to music, chilled out.
Stadol-a pain medicine made me laugh so much-like I was a bit tipsy. Then, I went from 4 cen (that took 11 hours) to 10 centimeters in ten minutes and he was born.
Afterwards-that's when I was uncomfortable. Do the Kegels!

Where should I start......? With my oldest daughter(I have 2 girls)to start, I had Hyperemisis(sp?)(threw up the whole 9mths!, EWW!LOL!) I started to dilate at 35 weeks, and went into full blown labor at 37 weeks. We (hubby and I )got to the hospital, and the night guard looked like Barney Fife!. I get upstairs, get checked, 3cms. 50%. Within a couple hours I'm five, and my reg. Ob was out of town for a few hours, and the attending Ob decided to break my bag of water, don't ya know it, no amnio hook to be found in the room! So here he is in exam mode waiting on the amnio hook asking who we thought would when the ball game!(She was born on Sunday during football season!) 5hrs. later I ready to go, the nurse says "push" I did, 1 set of 3 pushes. My Ob walks in on the last push and says " I'm going put my scrubs on!" the nurse yells back, "Oh no you're not! The baby's head is out!", he runs full speed just in time to catch her! What a day!
With my youngest I went into premature labor at 30 weeks, spent the night in the hospital, sent home on bed rest, was hospitalized at 32 weeks for low fluid and HBP. Had a section at 33 weeks. Spent five more days in the hospital. Then my hubby and I drove back and forth (45 mins. one way) for 3 weeks until my little one came home!
After all this I tied my tubes!
P.S.- It took 3yrs. and 6months of Clomid to concieve my oldest! Crazy,HUH! LOL!

As we arrived at the hospital to deliver my 6th baby my water broke. From previous experience I knew he would arrive within 10 minutes...we were panicky and went to the wrong floor! Hearing our yells for help, 3 nurses came running and loaded us back on the elevator. I announced that the baby's head was coming out and they helped me get my underwear off ... as the elevator doors opened my husband ran ahead to get an OB nurse, but before he returned, I yelled "here come the shoulders", the baby shot out (literally!), and my sister turned around and caught him!

Push pushed me over the best! I growled at him like the exorcist, grabbed him via his shirt... pulled him into my face and advised him that once he became into waiting to push something that became into 10 lbs out his .... then which would be whilst he might have the the superb option to tell me what to do! till then, close the f*** up! sure, my son became into 2 a million/2 weeks early, 10 lbs. no longer something that great could EVER come out OF ANY container, EVER!!!
