PRECAUTION : As a precaution for those using filesharing, the best is to use the filtering software that usually come's with it. Don't allow file extensions .exe, vmb dont allow anything with the exception of mp3, wav, mov, mpeg etc, Also whatever folder you down to open that folder right click and select "view" then detail's.
After downloading,always check the file type and make sure its an audio or video format. not a file or application. while this isnt a 100% foolproof it knocks down the chance of getting a virus considerably.

Well acutally myspace doesn't let me download from there anymore. I think myspace did something to where you can't download anymore cause if you click the download link it'll just take you to a quicktime screen and start playing the song. GRR!!! And I really don't know any mp3 sites...I don't use limewire cause a friend told me that some files contain viruses so yeah...I'm actually looking for a website myself lol. So goodluck!

Most of the sites that offer free music are illegal and full of viruses so I would not suggest them. Try iTunes (pay per song) or MP3 Rockets (one time fee). Both offer lots of songs and are safer than limewire for example.

Definitely Limewire. It is simple to use and effective. Its free but you don't have to worry about all that adware or other viruses. I've used it to get hundreds of songs and have yet to have a problem
