The correct answer would be e) all of the above. Difference in energy in a circuit will result in a drop in voltage and a decrease in current as the resistance increases. All resulting in power consumed.

The question is badly written.

However, I think what your teacher is after here is D, Power.

* Voltage is analagous to the pressure of water coming out of a hose. But the change in voltage across a resistor isn't the change in energy carried by the electrons, although it's related. Energy has more components.

* Resistance would be like sticking something in front of the nozzle to slow it down. This has nothing to do with the energy carried by the electrons and everything to do with the load.

* Current is how MUCH water is coming out of the hose. This again has nothing to do with the energy carried by the electrons - it has to do with how many electrons are flowing through a given point.

* And Power is calculated from both the current and voltage - I * E for DC circuits. Now THIS is talking about the energy carried by the electrons.

The question is asking about the difference in energy.
Energy is usually measured in Joules or Volts*Amps*Time So, this is E*I over time...Which is power - the power dissipated across a load - different points in a circuit.

Hope this helps you out some.

THE ANSWER IS....

A.)VOLTAGE

BECAUSE
I THINK THE QUESTION IS
"DIFFERENCE IN ENERGY PER ELECTRON!" OR THE DIFFERENCE IN ENERGY OF "AN " ELECTRON

THEN THE ANSWER IS VOLTAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
