I don't think I have ever criticized the way they have raised me. I was extremely lucky and blessed to have parents with enough sense to raise me to have self-esteem and the knowledge, confidence and ability to stand up for what I believe is right.

Absolutely. I used to get really angry at them when I was a pain-in-the-butt teenager, but now I realize that they actually did a really good job (considering what they had to work with!)
