One of my biggest peeves. I have family members & friends that are on the large size and it peeves me when are ignorant. Most of the time it is genetics. They can eat like Nicole Richie and still be larger then the average person. Gheez ppl get a grip.

Personally, I think the reason that people make fun of others(not just fat people) is because they don't feel good about themselves. When they put someone else down it makes them feel better.
Society has caused people to become more and more critical and judgmental about others. It's cruel and it's wrong!! People need to learn to like others for WHO they are on the inside and NOT what they look like on the outside.
"Just because the cover of a book is ugly doesn't mean the story isn't worth reading." In other words, give the person a chance and get to know them better. Who knows, they could turn out to be one of your best friends.

Yeah. Why not make fun of ugly people. Fat people can always lose weight. Ugly people stay ugly.

look at them. I do some times if they are VARY VARY fat but most of the time i don't because i could end up like them. But to answer you because they are different than others.

well the thin ppl think that they are perfect enough and have a nice body shape
in a positive thinking juz to motivate fat ppl to lose weight
