i want sweeping bangs across my face. how do i trim it myself without messing it up?

i have sweeping bangs, cut them myself and it looks great. cut them when it's damp at an angle. just do a little at a time making sure not to cut too much in case u don't like it. the shortest should be just where the eyebrow is and then angeled down towards the top of the ear. good luck! happy trimming!

I have sweeping bangs and thy aren't cut at an angle. They angle when you sweep them from one side to the other. If you are going to trim your own, do it dry and hold the scissors vertically. Wet hair will "shrink" when dry and you may have shorter bangs than you want.

All I have to say is; be careful. I cut my own bangs before and it didn't turn out very pretty.

hold the scissors in an upward position. Go diagonal and cut away!
