A word from the wise - WAIT
.
I don't care how much you love her, she loves you, DON"T do that until after you are married, and don't be in a big hurry to do it after that. Once her name is on the deed it is there "for better or worse" too. I sincerely wish the two of you happiness, but it is still better to wait to do that.

Do yourself a favor and wait until after you are married. One of my gf's added her fiance's name to the deed and then they ended up splitting up and it's a total nightmare for her. The house needs to be sold now and he is not cooperating. Anyway, I'm sure that things will go fine for you and yours, but just wait to be on the safe side. Good luck.

Don't do it right away. Wait until you've been married a year. I know you love each other, but one year of marriage has been known to destroy the best relationships. Get over the hurdle first. Once you have, see a real estate attorney to help you add her to the mortgage & deed.

From a business point of view, you should perhaps wait until you are married so that if s/he dies, you are still the owner. Also ownership could become a problem if you decide to cancel the engagement.

Wait until you're married - it will be easier. I do believe that there is a strong commitment from the point the engagement ring is on the finger...even still...until the marriage license is signed it is still not a done deal.

Make it a wedding gift to each other.

Then it should be as easy as calling your lawyer or title company.

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Sounds like you're off to a good start.

Wait until your married, then you can have her added to the title by way of a quit claim deed.

First of all, that is stupid!!!, but, all you have to do is go to your county clerk and have it done with a quit claim deed.
