do i have to have a hdtv. will the graphics still be good on a regular tv

The graphics will be the same regarding the amount of geometry and effects that are displayed.
However the picture will not be as sharp. Furthermore a lot of people have problems reading small text in Dead Rising while playing on a standard TV.

But otherwise, all game elements (like switches) are big enough to see and use.

So you can play very well with your SDTV.

ok i do not have the 360. i do have the wii and the ps3 but thats not the point. although having a huge hd tv helps out the graphics, that doesnt mean they will look lousy on your tv. evryone told me to get the hdmi cable for the ps3 and guess what, i cant tell the difference. so dont listen to everyone if they tell you that you need a 5000 tv to make an xbox look good. i have seen my friends play 360 on there tube tvs and the graphics look good. and i hate xbox so thats saying something.

lol dude u don't HAVE to have an hdtv to experience the awsomeness of ur 360 it still looks better than current gen con- soles 2

no of course not in hd the pixels generate 1080 pi while in a tube tele the pixles are played back in 360 pi depending on ur tv

Well I haven't tried it but I will say this, if you are used to playing on a Hi Def TV then you might think that it sucks.
