I would tell security so she could file a law suit on them later. She would never have to steal again. End of problem.

I would be just as likely to tell security about a shoplifter regardless if the person was pregnant or not. I wouldn't discriminate ;) Besides, have you stopped to think about other shoplifters? They're not doing it for fun most likely. Everyone has needs and may even have more needs than a shoplifting pregnant woman.

That's a tough one. You could almost tell, from the way she is dressed, if she is stealing out of necessity or want. If I determined it was just 'want', you bet I'd tell security. If it was out of 'need', I would offer to pay for it myself so she wouldn't get in trouble.

No. I'd even treat her to some milk, fruits and veggies. Sometimes we all need help and in this situation, she's probably very alone.
