Do real I.Q Tests ( ones not taken on the internet), have an answer place for questions you do not know the answer to? Such as "I don't know".

Real IQ tests such as the Stanford -Benet or the Wechsler are paper tests, which afford the person taking the test a multiple choice format. Those tests also have a mechanical aptitude portion where the person taking the test must reconfigure puzzles or create variable objects using hblocks or objects. The two portions are quite different, however, the idea behind an IQ test is not whether of not you know the correct answer, it is based on your response to a question and the logic behind your thoughts.
While some people are abstract in thought, the majority will find something on the test that will suit their logic.

I hope that helped.

Real IQ tests administered by a psychologist involve a variety of tests using blocks, pictures, questions asked by the tester and other tools that don't involve you ticking off any boxes at all. In fact they're so radically different from internet "IQ tests" I wouldn't trust those internet ones at all. I once took a whole bunch of those on the internet because I wanted to prove to this guy who claimed he tested at 172 that those scores are really not meaningful and that I could beat him. Well actually I could not (rats!!) but the interesting thing was I scored anywhere from slightly higher than my officially tested IQ of 140 down to about 117. Therefore I think some of those tests are truly useless!
