huh? That number is incomplete.. you can't calculate the square root if the last digits are missing.

n = number

x^2-n=0 and solve for when the equation = 0 (the root) and that is the square root.

You can use newton's method or bisection method or whatever else. Or just hit the sqrt key on your calculator.
