-2/5x-2=0

Add 2 from both sides:
-2/5x=2

Multiply both sides by -5/2
x=2(-5/2)
x=-5

Check:
-2/5(-5)-2=0
2-2=0
0=0

-(2/5)x-2=0

first add 2 to each side

-(2/5)x=2

then multiply each side by 5

-2x= 10
