my wifes pregnant with our second baby and its a girl but she needs help with the names. Our 3 year old son is named Sutton. Our last name is Thomas. Here are the names we like:
1) Isabella
2) Jayme
3) Thalia
4) Caitlin

for the middle name we like Skyler but that could be switched with one of the first names. Help, our baby girl is due the week Feb. 26 and we need a name!

My personal favorite is Isabella Skyler Thomas. Isabella seems to be more melodic when paired with your sir name of Thomas. I feel that the four syllable Is-a-bell-a is a perfect compliment to your two syllable last name Tho-mas. The other three choices of Jayme, Thalia & Caitlin seem ordinary because they also are two syllables and seem more ordinary when you put the whole name together no matter which first name is used. Every baby is precious and every name beautiful because they are usually chosen for a reason...but to me I think that the name of your little princess should be Isabella Skyler Thomas. Blessings to you, your wife and big brother Sutton (also a GREAT name)!

umm i like Skyler Isabella Thomas but then her initials will be SIT so maybe Isabella Skyler Thomas? I like Skyler but next to Sutton it might seem masculine and people will think she's a boy when reading it on paper so I'd go with Isabella Skyler _ Thomas. with the blank you could maybe use your wife's name since i think your name is probably john (jack) and that's one of your sons middle names. hope i helped and congrats

Those are pretty names.

One thing I want you to think about is this, how many people can spell these names? What this means is that every time your daughter says her name to anyone, she is going to have to spell it.

I want you to go to visit with some of your friends or better yet, go to the service counter at any store and simply ask the clerk this:

"Can you tell me how you would spell the name Jayme?" Try this with each one of the names you have listed. I would venture a bet that the only name anybody might be able to spell is Isabella.

The only one I could do here is Isabella. The others are not phonetically correct, therefore, your daughter will be saddled with a name she must spell her whole life.

I used to live on a street called "Bryngelson" drive. I spelled that word 20,000 times. I got sick of it. Nobody could spell it.

I'm not suggesting you pick some dull, boring name. Just keep in mind, these names are cute and pretty. When your daughter goes off to college, or anywhere else for that matter, she will have to pronounce and spell these names.

Enjoy your children, they grow up fast.

well first, congrats on the 2nd baby!

as for the name, I personally would go with:

Isabella Skyler Serenity Thomas

I think you guys have given the child beautiful names to start with, and I think Serenity is a beautiful name. I also think that you guy should give the girl 2 middle names, just as your son. It's kind of a family tradition in my family....me, my brothers and sisters and my kids all have 2 middle names.

Hope this helps, and congrats again.
