To me it would be common sense to wear a short black dress. You would be a lot more comfortable in a shorter dress. Plus you can dress it up with jewelry and accessories. A long dress just might be too formal, I mean you are going as a guest, not a performer. Anyhow, have a blast, I am so jealous. Congrats!

if it's formal, then long silky black dress seems really elegant and sexy at the same time. I'd say short is for more cocktail party dress! ^^ u want stand out right? simple black dress with nice one piece of jewellry seems like a good idea

First of all, you're so lucky! I think I would go w/ the long black dress if I were you. It looks good on anybody. But if you do go for the short dress, go for something fun, like a black and white polka dot. May sound ridiculous, but is pretty, and doesn't look like you're trying too hard. Hope this helps!

Hunny if you have sexy legs the short and if not still short I'm very proud you would take this advise. Any way all of the stars wear sexy dresses short or long so you should probably wear the sexier one. and if you don't know which one is sexier ask your boyfriend or just a boy in jeneroul but they will say the short!! I know there perverted!! hahah..

If you are going to wear a long dress to the senior prom then give it a bit of variety and wear a short dress to the junior prom. :0)

If you have really great legs and some great heels-wear the short dress. If you have none of the above wear the long one.

ok well when I think of the Grammys I think gold so I think you should wear a gold elegant long sexy dress!!! That way you will also feel like a super star!!!

I think you should wear a long black dress(not too long our you'll trip!) with some jewelry like earrings(gold goes best) and a necklace or bracelet.
