i had the same problem for several days up until yesterday, when on a hunch that it would work, but no idea why it might possibly work, i went to tools/internet options and hit the 'delete cookies' button and the problem was solved. I'm not sure how or why, but does it really matter? i could now get on and find out what i had been missing. i had ongoing conversations with 5 different girls going on....surely i had plenty messages to catch up on! NOT!!! they sent messages, but i didn't recieve any of them. they're gone! lost to oblivion. i'm going to start a new myspace-like site that actually works.

Do you use Mozilla Firefox? I had this problem as well. Here's what I did:
Open Internet Explorer.
Go to Tools.
Go to work offline.
Now, go to myspace. if it says "this web page connot be viewed" or something about working offline, click stay offline, and the page should become viewable. (at least it did 4 me)
Then login. The box should come up again. Click 'connect'
Now you should be fine. This worked for me, I don't know if it will for you, but this page may help!

My Sister and I had the same problem for several days...as of today she's back in, but I'm still having the same message. We live several hours away from eachother...hoping it'll work again soon.

Your friends don't like you and they have secretly blocked you from visiting their site. They also went out to a concert last night without you. Try Listerine.

Same thing is happening with me. i tried using a proxy but even then i couldnt login without "Cannot Find Server" my friends can get online but i cant....and my computer doesnt block myspace

Were you accessing from work, or from school, or from a computer connected to a censorware program that prevents you from accessing certain sites?
