You know the saying, " Out with the old, in with the new"? Well, in ECW's case, reverse the statement to be " Out with the new ECW, in with the old ECW"!!!!! E-C-W, E-C-W!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me re-read this question...why doesn't Vince let his over payed roster consisting of former jobbers beat the holy hell out of each other with kendo sticks, barbed wire, and flaming tables, so that they can go home and collect a check for the durration of their contract?...no clue dude, no clue.
I have to give Vinnie some props though, Paul E. too, they made the best out of what fate dealt them. They were going to make it a technical/smash mouth styled promotion with the likes of Van Dam and Angle, but Angle was released and jumped and Van Dam had his little party with Mary Jane after winning the title. Then they made Show champ, which was good, but poor Paul Wight just started to feel the ware and tear of his career, and it hit him hard as a big man on the road. They put their horse and buggy behind Lashley, and it's the best they can do right now. It's not Heyman's fault, it's not Vince's fault, they're victims of circumstances...but should they have renewed the Sci Fi contract?...no. Could they have booked December To Dismember better? Yes, and does ejecting Paul from the equation help matters? No. Does firing originals make the situation any better, or draw appeal from the fans? Nuh uh. It's a failed project, but Vince was due at least two in his career...and he already had the XFL.

its not ALL vkm fault most of the ECW originals are getting old and can't do as much stuff and most of the ECW roster are new comers except for the rather getting old originals and since their new they prolly want to get the hang of being in front of a crowd like that before they try and kill someone but yes i do miss the extreme days

It doesn't even have to be all bloody and crazy every week. Just try some interesting story lines that you actually finish. Plus, either have Sandman and Dreamer retire or have them win some matches. I haven't looked it up but I think between the two of them, they haven't won 5 matches since ECW returned, pathetic. Now they are grouping Sabu into that category with the latest angle.

amen brother. EC DUB all the way. vince just wants to make the money of the name. he cares nothing about it or its legacy. he doesnt even like the originals. hes fired most, and will probably fire the rest. rvd is walkin out in the sumer, probabaly shortly followed by sabu. could there be a reunion in tna??? its the best fit for both of them. imagine, rvd vs aj styles and sabu against raven or abyss again. goodness, tna is partially what ecw was. but so is wsx. we just cant see the greatness that we witnessed in the original ecw ever again.

The old ECW ruled. I am not very fond of the crap they are doing these days. It is just not the same at all.
