They say that timing does have an effect. Your first morning urine usually contains the most pregnancy hormone. Test again tomorrow morning. But please don't put off going to the doctor just cuz you don't have money, the sooner you get prenatal care the better!

The hormone is most concentrated in the morning which is why you got a positive, you would have got a negative the same day because there wasn't enough of the hormone present to give you another positive. If you test again in about a week you should see a much darker positive line. It is also definately the time to make a dr appointment.

If there is any sort of line at all usually means you are pregnant. Take it in the morning after not peeing for like 6 hours, try and take it as close to your period date as possible. Taking it later in the day can for sure make a difference, and if you are taking it before you have really missed your period. False negative happens all the time, false positive, not so much, to get that line you have to have the hormone, and if there is any line at all that hormone was found, every 2 days that hormone double, so try in another 2 days first morning pee, and good luck!

first morning urine can give a better result but even waiting 2 or 3 days can make a difference in your result.
wait 4 or 5 days before testing again.

Are you talking about a pregnancy test?
If so, first morning urine usually has the most concentrated amount of hormone (HCG) which is detected by the test. In early pregnancy, that can make a big difference. Later in pregnancy, the concentration tends to be much higher and timinig doesn't matter so much.
You might try again tomorrow w/ your first morning urine.

your best bet is to go to the dr. some dr's offices give free pregnancy tests. call around and find out...it could be that you are testing too early too and are getting mixed results...the dr is the best way for you to know cuz all this stress isn't helping either. oh and the first morning urine is the best time to take a hpt.
