I have a 94' Ford Explorer and I noticed a weird sound coming from my brakes. When I am braking for a stop, the brakes are fine. The problem is within the last 2 or 3 yards of coming to a complete stop, it makes a farting sound and makes the brake pedal vibrate. What could this be?

That is the Anti-Lock Brake (ABS) system kicking in. ABS engagement explains both the noise and the pulsation in the pedal. It shouldn't be doing that under normal driving however. I would take it in to have the system checked.

Your anti locking brake system is making the noise.Refer to the ABS system when having it checked out

Checkl brake fluid, make sure its topped off. Your rotors could also be warped. If you can jack upt eh truck and remove the wheels, inspect the brake pads and rotors, yourself.
