Are you a parent? Kids don't always understand what thier parents are doing and think they're the biggest idiots- and yes constantly complain. But the parent does know what they're doing. There is a reason and the kids just don't get it.

Same with God. Watch Josh and the Big Wall form Veggie tales sometime.

Yes, I truly believe in GOD, especially because he does know what HE is doing. I see God as a benevolent Father. We may ask and pray to have what we may think is best for us; but very often for reasons we will never understand He, the Father will give what we need, not what we want. EX: A child may ask for 2 big bowls of ice cream, but the Father will only allow 1 small bowl. When we can not longer carry a burden, we give it up and let GOD take over. The words: We trust in GOD has saved many, many people, because sometimes the pain is so bad in our soul, that just offering that tear in our soul gives us that little string of hope to continue..........

Yes. He knows what He's doing, but we don't. He gave us freewill so if we make a mess of things, it's our doing. He wants us to figure it out for ourselves. Some of us have faith & try to do the right thing. Others don't believe & many do the wrong thing. If He forces our hands then we're just puppets & there is no point to that...There is a reason for things. We don't always see or understand it. We may get angry. We may have doubts. That doesn't mean God isn't all-knowing. It just means that we aren't.

Ol god has a win-win situation. When good things happen to people, he's thanked for giving his blessings to them. If bad things happen to people (even good people), its said that he works in mysterious ways or we 'don't know the big picture.' Either way, he's got it made. How long will this delusion go on???

The people I know who believe in god think he is omniscient, in other words, he knows everything. They also believe he is omnipotent, meaning he is all powerful. If he is omniscient, he knows what he's doing, and seems to relish subjecting his "children" to suffering, torture, homelessness, illness, starvation, abuse, etc. If he is omnipotent, he could stop the evil now. If he is unwilling to stop the evil, he is a thug, and why anyone would worship him is beyond me.

I do believe in God and I do think he knows what He's doing. Just because He doesn't always let us in on the plan doesn't mean He doesn't have one.

you opened yourself up for a load of trouble with this one, i bet. anyway, i think you need to factor in the theory that god allows free will. then all the craziness in the world can be the result of human choices rather than a god that is contradictory.

I think God know what He's doing. The question is, do you?
