It sounds like you are a typical world citizen - no matter what country you live in! So be "more Italian" when visiting your grandparents and revel in that part of your heritage and be "more Scots" or French or whatever the occasion calls for. But day to day, you are Heinz 57 as most of us are. It is nice that you have relatives that can pass on knowledge about your various ancestry. I'd say enjoy it and be all that you are. And ,wow, what a great chance to become an international chef!

What are you? Human.
You are also missing 5%. Adding your numbers totals 95%.
I have a question.
How did you establish those percentages? I mean, where did those numbers come from? You list 6 nationalities... how long did it take you to compute the percentage value for each? Did you do a massive family tree and spend a few years to reach such exact calculations? Did you count every person of every nationality in your family tree, collate it, and "do the math"?
Any of us could do that and list so much. My 1/4 Gadje blood is Romanian "White" but, lo' I do not remember how long ago (hundreds of years), that part of my family came from Poland.
Learn about all of your heritage, or learn about none. Be proud of one, be proud of some, be proud of all, or be proud of none. It is up to you.

You're obviously American. At this point everything is so diluted why bother trying to "get you over to their side." You don't have a "side," and it's not healthy to see it that way. I am probably 75% Irish, and there are people in my family who think it is bad to marry outside Irish. Boy, were they peeved when I brought home a Spanish/Mexican guy as my intended hubby. It's not good to create division in the family over such a small issue, especially when everyone in your family is already a little of everything.
As for B, I'd say you are not as proud of some of the other aspects of your heritage because you don't know about them as much.
Read about them and learn, research your family history. You might be surprised what you can find.

I think it's really great to be part of many different heritage. Tell them how u really feel. I think it's nothing wrong to feel proud of particular heritage than the others but I think no one heritage is better than the other. Try and learn more about them. U'll be surprised. Only thing that matters is who u r now. And that's just who u are and u should be proud.

I always hear this in Yahoo answers and you're all wrong.
You CAN'T have all of those things (ethnic groups) in one person-the genes don't combine that way.
Yours is funnier than the others I've heard. Most say,"I'm 1/4 this, 1/2 that, and 1/4 the other thing." BUT you say that u r 25%...20%...25%...15%...5%...5%...---Hillarious!!!!
wake up, better yet-get a book on genetics.
The only post I agree with so far is RIKKAR Z.

Well I happen to know the feeling. My heritage is divided also. I am asked my heritage I just say Heinz 57 which means a blends of all the best. It would be good to learn their side. It give them something that can't be explained. Grandparents love you and they are proud of who they are they are proud of where their family comes from. Just learn---it's a little something to share.

You for sure do trust, no matter if on a subconcious element. in case you probably did not, you does no longer be afraid. after all, you may't declare to no longer trust in some thing, then state that you're petrified of what's going to happen even as that similar ingredient includes bypass.

Well, like me, you are a mutt.
I am part German, Russian, Romanian, Israeli, blah blah blah. And I am proud of all of it. You don't have to pick which heritage to affiliate yourself and you don't have to be proud of one more than the other.

you're caucasian, unless some were for sure not white. you could say you come from european descent. it's fine you're proud of one thing more than others. i'm more proud of my native american ancestors and what they did for me. yet i am still proud of my white ones that they came over and had my great grandparents with the indians too.

You're a mutt. That's what we call dogs that have many different breeds in them so why shouldn't we call humans that too? I'm a mutt. If you don't want to learn about it then tell them you don't want to.
