I love star trek but they don't even mention homosexuality in the eppisode they've 'donated' to the cause( the outcast, mentioned here: http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/The_Outcast) When Guinan explained to Lal about sex she requested insted of having a man and a woman holding hands to have a man and a man hold hands.

There should be even a passing mention of us queer people in it.

I recommend the books:
Star Trek: Titan book one Taking Wing &
Star Trek: Titan book two The Red King

There are several gay characters in it. The back of the book says something about the new ship Titan having the most deverse crew in the history of Starfleet.

I liked the dream sequence that took up an entire chapter in book two.

The closest incident was in Star Trek Deep Space Nine when Lt. Dax got involved with one of her previous host's wife. They shared a passionate same sex kiss on camera. I just wish there were more incidents to see.

I preferred Babylon 5. In two episodes, two of the main male characters poised as a newlywed couple to remain incognito.

Or maybe Torchwood, where the 12th episode has the main character in a very tender dance and kissing scene with another guy.

That's "quality" science fiction. :)

Dax, oh, I was in love with her back when I was in middle school. I had dreams about her and Kira. I used to be a big trekkie.

That's why I love Dr. Who, he's definately not above kissing the boys. His point of view is when your over 900, it just doesn't matter.

With all those humanoids with funny heads running around, queers don't look all that queer anymore.
