i havent been to a movie for 7 years and i was wondering who else wactes movies at home. how still goes to the movies? is going to the movies now just something for those dating?

SINCE I NOW OWN MY OWN PROJECTOR WHICH IS NOW ONLY ABOUT $400. I GET THE BIG SCREEN EFFECT IN MY LIVING ROOM..... IT IS PRESENTLY SET UP FOR ONLY AN 80 INCH SCREEN BUT IT CAN GO AS BIG AS 700 INCHES IF I WANT TO SHINE IT ON MY HOUSE AND WATCH IT FROM THE POOL..... just cheaper to stay home and i values low prices and convience more than being first..... besides i get to see reviews so i am rarely disappointed.

I watch almost all my movies at home. I can pause it whenever i want, and no annoying jerks in the seat behind me.

i still go to the movies. there are some movies that you know you need to see on the big screen (special effects , action, horror)
more intimate character studies are fine for home rentals, but nothing beats the experience of a special effects heavy thriller with a packed house and the collective energy of everyone in the theatre making you a little more antsy than you'd be in the comfort of your home.

I go out to the movies once in a while but mostly watch them at home.
A lot of the time when I go out to the theater there is somebody who just HAS to talk through the whole thing. Then you're left with the problem of what to do with the body.

I only go to the movies when my boyfriend and I have date night. It's just so expensive now that it's cheaper to just rent something from blockbuster, pop our own popcorn, and hangout on the couch.

I go out to the movies every chance I get, usually twice a month. I rent DVD's about the same twice a month.

before about 2 weeks ago i havent been to the movies since super troopers. its more comfortable to watch them in your own living room.
